Abstract Landscape artworks and multi-media art inspired by the beautiful Cairngorms

Living in Aviemore I am surrounded by the majesty of the Cairngorms... this ever changing landscape inspires me in my work, capturing light changes, vast mountain sides of heather or a strip of cerise Willowherb.. my abstract paintings embrace a feeling of the landscape, colour and space that surrounds my home.

I have created some small abstract acrylics which depict my journey through the Highlands from as far east as Aberdeen to one of my most favourite destination off the west coast …..the Isle of Skye.

Travelling throughout the Highlands regularly takes my breath away. and this beautiful land has my heart.

These mini abstract pieces capture mountain views, far vistas, rivers and coastal scenes. Huge landscapes made pocket sized! All painted in my studio here in Aviemore on the Rothiemurchus Estate.
