SPEY’s 15 Year Old single malt brings together Port and innovation in a whisky shaped

by more than a decade in Port STR casks. Developed with Dr Jim Swan’s pioneering

Shaved, Toasted, Re‑Charred technique, this rare maturation has created a spirit of

deep fruit, warm spice and velvety richness.

Matured to produce a calm, confident depth that only time can create.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep mahogany with ruby black depth — the unmistakable mark of long Port STR

maturation.

Nose: Rich and steady. Blackcurrant jam, plum compote and cherry liqueur rise first, followed by

polished oak, cocoa nibs and soft vanilla pod. A subtle thread of sweet tobacco leaf, toasted sugar

and warm clove.

Palate: Full, velvety and confidently structured. Dark berry compote, molasses and spiced caramel

lead with generous sweetness. Notes of black cherries, roasted oak, nutmeg and cocoa build slowly,

giving the whisky the weight and authority.

Finish: Long, warm and atmospheric. Black fruits, leather, cocoa dust and sweet oak linger,

gradually giving way to dry spice and a gentle warmth.
